PPC FAQs
Q: How much will it cost to get to the top of a search on PPC?
A: This depends massively on the sector, keyterm and competition – and we don’t recommend indiscriminately throwing money at PPC to get to the top. We’re Google Adwords Qualified and can help you get the best out of your PPC budget.
Q: What is Google Adwords Professional (GAP) Qualified?
A: Google Adwords Professional Qualified - sometimes known as GAP Qualified - is the official qualification for advertisers using Google's pay-per-click (PPC) system. The qualification requires the advertiser to meet a set of criteria including the long-term management of a campaign and handling a significant budget, as well as passing an exam on the specifics of the system.
We are GAP Qualified, originally passing the exam in early 2007 and again in 2009 following the Adwords Interface overhaul.
Using a GAP Qualified provider gives you the reassurance that the person handling your account is an experienced expert in the field, and will offer the very best PPC service.
If your PPC provider isn't GAP Qualified, then there's no real guarantee that they know what they're doing with the system.
Q: What’s the difference between PPC and SEO?
A: SEO is the overall practice of appearing on search engines, while PPC is a popular and effective form of search engine marketing. PPC is also known as “sponsored search”, which best describes how the system works. SEO is an organic process, which is dependent on search engines assessing and ranking a website on a set of criteria. Take a look at our respective PPC and SEO pages to find out more about what services are available, and how they could help your business thrive online.
